Checkered Chix is an original concept that fuses the worlds of racing and dolls into a single platform.
By bridging the gap between “boy” and “girl toys”, Checkered Chix offers both a fashionable and versatile doll that any child can enjoy.
Each doll has a vehicle counterpart, as their outfits, accessories, and personalities are inspired by their ride. Some early concepts explore sports cars, motorcycles, and classic trucks.

The Chix call her “Diva Deja” for her feisty personality and competitive nature.
Deja never misses an opportunity to look good- even when she is racing around the track over 100 mph.
Inspired by the KTM RC 390, she packs as much punch as her bike does.

Checkered Chix packaging features a large custom window, branded visuals, and a unique back panel that features the doll and her characteristics.
Using a Zünd cutting table, I created a paperboard prototype with graphics to bring this project to life.
The package is dimensioned at 9” x 2.75” x 12.5” to hold a doll, a helmet, and custom keychain.
